I can’t believe this project is from the same people who created such emotional and poetic songs that we love. This is so disappointing.
From what I saw about S.K.I.N, it seemed to be much more artistic and ambitious.

the list of better band names for this is really endless.
I hope sugizo gets very rich off this project, and seeing a more or less animated-looking miyavi compared to his usual pokerface self was refreshing.
MV treatment for this is unexpectedly cheap, given that Hydessa flew out to Kyoto last time they had a yoshicollab

Those are some cheap ass looking PVs and they used the same studio for both (probably filmed right after eachother)? Wow what an effort by these rockstars 
To me the songs sound bad/generic AF, and they look very cringe.
More than a passionate heartfelt project this feels like a cash grab.

Yeah it just feels super hollow and corporate for some reason, extremely produced and polished and harmless, basically the opposite of what these guys got famous for, so it really feels like a sellout compared to how ambitious and pretentious they’re making it sound.
They can make whatever music they want, sure, but it got that shiny industry treatment that I think a lot of us here instinctively recoil from when it comes to music.

I’ll also be more convinced of the longevity of this unit if they announce at least semi-regular releases. Sometimes artists need time to gel. If it only goes up from here, there could be a shot for redemption. I disliked S.K.I.N because it was a promise that was never delivered upon, and at least this time we get some music.

ok I thought it may have just been that bad quality of that press conference video but dude… that midi guitar lolz and cheap ass sounding old workstation drum samples~ Yoshiki has his home studio and still one other location still I believe with full on live rooms, the other guys all have crazy good home studio setups but they couldn’t arrange just like one day to record actual guitar on all the parts? or drums? this is like watching a very rich lazy car crash @v@
