Not that impressed, sorry

I guess we shouldn’t be surprised but it really sounds like a harder Mucc song, maybe a bit too much.

Oh wow, sounds so old school and yet so fresh at the same time. Great song. Also must be amazing live!

Kyo looks raw and unfiltered - digging it!

Also: very MAD CAPSULE MARKETS-ish as someone mentioned it on Youtube

another song which gets ruined by unnescesary "OOOOH OOOH OOOH"s

It all sounds just a bit too poppy, and conventional, for me.

Im so happy to see kyo trying out a bunch of new stuff

This is basically Gokusai meets TMOB

I like it! Kyo is a little bit lost in the mix but it sounds cool, maybe the least exciting of our previews so far

I really like it. Video looks cool and song sounds great. I remain fully hyped for the album

I was really underwhelmed by their debut EP. I thought it was fine but kinda boring and basic, the guitar tone was terrible, tempo too slow and too much Korn-y (pun intended lol) late 90s nu-metal influence. Also all 4 of the songs were like slightly remixed versions of the same thing, there wasn’t much variation across tracks.

I have to say I’m really pleasantly surprised by this song and by all the samples so far. Instead of 4 “medium” sounding mid-tempo “scream the verse, sing the chorus” songs it seems like there’s still gonna be some of that which is cool, but also more variety as well from softer electronic infused ballads to MOAB style all-out aggression. They thankfully fixed the awful guitar tone too for the most part, it’s still not my favorite but it’s much better. The music is still a bit basic but it’s good and I’ll take it over some of the newer sukekiyo stuff that’s a bit too experimental sounding even for me.

I am amused that people actually expect something sukekiyo/Dir-level big out of this act instead of like “we are just doing this for fun and some extra pennies is alright”. Kyo (yes, the same guy that did sukekiyo’s Candis!) is not trying too much here nor Yukihiro nor even Miya, so I think that might as well be the main intention here.

This is Kyo’s “Karasu” (remember that Tatsurou’s short term side-project?).

By the way, that PV was directed by Koh Yamada who is known for directing a good number of alternative Japanese music videos, by acts such as e.g. Coldrain and Crystal Lake among others (quite unusual to have someone not aligned with VK stuff to direct anything Kyo-like).

Has Kyo been rocking that short blonde hair cut since Candis?
I thought I saw him the other day in some new youtube video with green hair

And the last new song

Yeah, except this one has actually got so far as putting out an album, unlike Karasu… I was really excited about them and then they just fizzled out
