The way anything Meta does pisses me off.
If all turns out well, I’ll be getting my hands on digital signage typically reserved for businesses integrated into my personal setup. Closer to living out my dreams in a Gundam cockpit, lmao.
So the Japanese iTunes Store has SUGIZO’s Replicants album listed as having came out in 2000, but it has the same track list as the 2017 and has an updated copyright with universal for 2017 so I’m assuming there’s some weird error since Replicants didn’t exist. To my knowledge there was the four replicant remixes and then a Replicant released in I think France which has a totally different track list and then the SHM-CD version compilation that came out alongside the remaster of TRUTH?. Ergo, someone fucked up and Replicants on iTunes must be the 2017 compilation and just saved me some money this month because I was about to dive $70+ into physical copies of both remasters after already paying for Buyee shipping so this digital version will suffice until next month. I know it’s the same albums and remastering doesn’t really do that much unless it’s a really good person doing the mastering, but I think it’d be really cool to have an updated version of these classic albums on the shelf and that’s coming from a minimalist who almost always discards everything and keeps the disc. TRUTH? and Replicants will go alongside my NFS VHS of the LUCIFER PV made for in store I bought several years ago.
I’ll probably get a physical copy of SHAG’s The Protest Jam eventually too because I just really like the way it looks and I’d totally buy a vinyl of it even if I don’t have a record to MP3 player anymore. I had the Rise to Cosmic Dance DVD and got rid of it because it’s all over the net and I’m starting to only buy things that I know won’t be uploaded anywhere because I know by the time I receive anything popular in the mail it’ll be uploaded, so I’m realizing the cost effectiveness of waiting and only buying things that I know won’t show up anytime soon.
By the way I finally got the Haunted House Volume 3 DVD in the mail after it traveled sea mail months after getting the other one so if anyone wants a copy I ask you just pay shipping. I should have asked 13th Moon to autograph it, but didn’t think about it at the time.
I became very paranoid after watching this… In VK most sudden deaths are explicable but my mind always wanders to Taji’s death, which looks like an obvious cover-up…
It took fourteen years, but Juno Reactor finally clicked. 
I now understand why I couldn’t stand them when I was eighteen, it’s definitely something that takes time like say noise music.
Had the sudden revelation that maybe the reason Mahiro seems dumb (see: performance on the visual baka test and how he just loses at basically everything) is because he’s been dealing with his progressive vision loss condition since who-knows-when (maybe as early as elementary school, since it’s genetic) and therefore might just have struggled to function in such a vision-oriented world (how the fuck else are you gonna learn kanji and physical coordination??).
Probably just wild speculation but the idea makes me sad, because telling anyone “I have an incurable condition that will cost me a good chunk of my eyesight eventually” isn’t conducive to having a normal, well-adjusted life in a society that underhandedly discriminates like Japan.

I figured out I can play songs in Drop D on my seven string at the fifth fret. I tuned it in Drop A so that fret is D A D G C E A and I don’t know what to do with myself…

Absolutely insane. I mean he seemed to be pretty hated, but the fact he was pushing for constitutional reform and give Japan a standing military and was killed by a former member of the equivalent of the Japanese navy because he wasn’t satisfied with what he’d done in office is odd. He went down as the longest tenured prime minister in the history of Japan.
