I just don’t like that we’re trending toward an internet where information is hidden away on private servers rather than open communities. Pair that with how useless search engines are becoming in general, it feels like the Information Age equivalent of the collapse of the Roman empire.

Part of minimalism is about evolving and figuring out what really matters to you and what brings you happiness and meaning which has brought me to the quest to become lighter. In the quest to become lighter I’ve decided to change my everyday carry from an AbrAsus Slim Wallet (ROLAND model) (the same model HYDE loves which I found out much later after buying the model) to a MOFT snap wallet that SHINYA (DIR EN GREY) uses and swears by.
Well, I have an iPhone SE (2020) and it doesn’t have MagSafe which you need for the magnet to work and rather than buying a new phone or something crazy like buying a galaxy flip (those commercials are ridiculous) I bought a magnetic case from VECI for $30 off of Amazon and the aforementioned MOFT wallet case stand thing and all told it was like $65 which is a lot cheaper than a new phone.
Now I can reduce my EDC from a phone, AirPods Pro, keys, and a wallet to just a phone and AirPods on the key ring.
who would’ve thought Kamijo would go down the environmentalism path while Yoshiki collects pictures with worldwide celebs and Gackt trains penises

I’m high as fuck so allow me to offer Cloud 9 Conjecture.
Kamijo loves European culture. He’s probably visited several times. He’s done the math of knowing that those areas will be forever altered, perhaps unlivable, if it continues to get hotter. How will he shoot and schedule elegant PV shoots at legitimate French chateaus if it’s too hot for Versailles or even just himself to perform in his costumes?
No but in all seriousness, I’m glad he cares. It’s about time people do. It’s November 9th and it’s not even cold. My wife turned to me the other day and said that it feels like a day in July. I haven’t needed boots in nine years, since I left college in an area where snow actually falls, and snow just hasn’t fallen much in this area. When it comes, it’s all at once and that’s it. It’s just a wet season now. This is not normal. Nothing about this is normal. If it’s this warm now, how brutal is summer 2033 going to be?
I walk around every day having a mental crisis because it’s too comfortable and everyone’s blissfully enjoying it. Goddamnit, November through February are supposed to be cold. You want warm? Move somewhere warm, don’t bring the warm to you!

Starting next week it’s only going to get into the mid 40s in Ohio, so we’ll see. It’s been in the 70s this week, but I fully expect several days of weather warnings and getting stuck in the snow come January. If it’s the middle or end of December and it’s not freezing every day then I’ll be more inclined to believe it.
