You made me laugh now I also noticed it and it felt so different. What were they thinking?
Because of this my brain is just confused and thinks the taste is not the same anymore.
In the EU PlastIc Straws/Plates and other one way stuff aswell as There Wrapings will be forbidden/are forbidden since this year.
i dont like those paper straws either so i solved the problem by buying one of those steel once, so i got one with me in my backpack, just in case i need it XDD. I keep it near my pencase ._. I belive i also have a pair of chopsticks in my backpack as well…in case i would need it… has never happen tho hahaha
The Capri-Sun experience is ruined for me as well.
Yeah, they will ban cotton swabs too. They promised to find suitable replacement for them. We will see.
Oh really? Didn’t know that. Maybe they will replace them with paper too? and then they just print on the package: “New - better quality” or something else.
They already changed cotton swabs (in Germany at least). They are fine. However I don’t remember what’s been printed on it.
I don’t know the details, but some companies changed them from plastic to paper ones already.
They should write something like “better for the planet, but not really” or “cheaper to make, more expensive to buy”, it would work wonders on the sale figures.
this…i’m not going to be able to sleep tonight.
Idk how they are into it, since Corona.
But atleast it’s changing and way more Ice Shops and Others are going away from PlastIc.
Well. It is better for the planet.
Plastic straws and other stuff Like one way plates/knives and stuff are a huge Part of the plastic/garbage in the ocean/nature.
Tho yeah they should Go with Bamboo instead of wood or Cardboard since it’s way better.
It May be a little step compared to what they need to stop (Like wraping each single Biscuite/bar Plastic) but it is atleast Something.
I know that it is better for the planet, but I have feeling that there will always be problem with things used in such quantities, regardless of what they are made of.
Sure it will. Since the Ressources need to be taken from somewhere, and If they wont use stuff Like bamboo which grows waaaay faster then trees or other materials Like it, it will come faster to an end with it but that’s apart If some folk throw there Shit Into the ocean it wont be such a big mess with Wood/cardboard or stuff compared to PlastIc.
I’ve been using bamboo swabs and paper straws for a while now. (yeah I go through the extra effort) the textures annoy me as well and paper straws feel rough and sticky on the lips indeed but I guess it’s worth it so w/e
Damn insomnia again too tired to do shit on PC but where else to do stuff in a pandemic if not PC lol my shitty excuse for a neighbor is partying past 2 AM and I feel like I have already read every single worthwhile BL manga or novel ever released and translated this is not ok
mfw I’m old enough to remember shitty soviet paper straws blerghhhhhhhh
plastic grocery bags were invented because someone wanted to think about the trees…and we were nowhere close to todays deforestation rates alone.
I am going to keep wearing a mask even when the pandemic is over. I like having a warm face when when I walk around and no more runny cold nose after 15 mins of walking from allergies. Plus I like the merch option from bands.
I really wonder if people will just ditch the masks or if it will be more common to see people wearing masks.
Tbh i would love to go on wearing them at least when i know i am ill or i don’t feel well. Also going to a doctor, i often sat there waiting to get in and thought “till me and my kids are inside we probably catched something else from someone else”
I knew that thanks to the pandemic and quarantine my social anxiety became more bad, but i didn’t know it had become bad enough that my whole body was trembling from a strange woman (that lives in the same neighbourhood as me) tallking to me, because i was feeding my street cats.
I’m late to the party, but I was sad to see that most CD shops I’ve come to know are now gone. And this was before the pandemic. Likely, the remaining ones were swept away this past year.
It’s sad, but bands are opening up to more accessible options of buying CDs, i.e., directly from their website, Amazon, or Mercari, to name a few.
You will still see 配布CDs being given out if you’d like to risk your wellbeing and attend a cramped basement live house in a country that still hasn’t begun 配布Vaccines for anyone under 65.
