i wish more people understood insurance isn’t a magical credit card that you can use anywhere. and that yes, it’s very stupid we have to ask THEIR (insurance’s) APPROVAL for them to cover a cataract consultation or a fucking retina detachment.
i hate healthcare but the money is too good sobs
thankfully our office does exams only so i don’t have to deal with the materials aspect but man alive. there needs to be a basic crash course on “please listen to the people who deal with this for 10 years”
