Even if there is suspision, they can investigat not charge random amounts. Especially from someone who, I assume, is provoding all necessary info and is importing CDs and DVDs and not some cheap china garbage like the millions of people who buy from temu and shein, who use tricks to get around tax payments.

Its simple, refuse the payment and call fedex or dhl and request the tax customs document to check all the taxes. If there is an error in the value, just notify them

btw I always calculate the taxes to be paid before shipping, for example: 25000 yen (total product price) to EUR ± 144 EUR then 19% (tax import) will be around 19 euros + little fees max. 6/7 EUR (for fedEx). Then i will pay around ±25/27EUR of tax customs.

please keep in mind if you order something that is above 150 € there can be additional duties. Rate depends on the typ of item. CD/DVD rate is luckily 0 %.

Definitely think more people should invest in configuring a Pi-Hole for their at home network. It functions as a network-wide ad blocker and telemetry blocker. Better than just uBlock Origin because it blocks incoming and outgoing connections across the network, not just limited to the browser. It blocks some malware domains too. Pretty eye opening how many connections are phoning home and also probing the PC at the same time.
For example, this is my last.fm page with Pi-Hole enabled:
This is without Pi-Hole and uBlock Origin enabled (done on my work laptop on work VPN which ignores my device):
If you squint, you can almost see a Versailles scrobble!
It doesn’t block everything. Some ads, like YouTube and Reddit ads, served from the same CDN still get through. So, no dodging YouTube Premium yet!
It’s not even a matter of “trying to hide” my activity. Ads, telemetry, and tracking have gone from a “necessary evil” (debate that at your own leisure) to downright abusive, intrusive, and egregious. Look at that second screenshot! You can’t even begin to see the website unless you close four ads! The belief of the right to shove ads down everyone’s throat trumps delivering a good user experience, as there are some websites (like last.fm) that care more about shoving ads in your face than they do about providing Core Site Functionality.
I’m taking my Internet back. I’ll have the content and you can keep the ads.
I use adblockers since I remember and I didn’t know ads on Last.fm got THIS bad. Man, this is awful.

thats good option as well. i use brave for that.
I also pay for Last.fm pro! You get jumped by ads even with a subscription! That’s why I don’t feel bad about blocking ads on that domain. I get you need funding but damn…
They go together. Brave protects you in the browser from things coming in. This catches anything that connects to your network, both in and out.
