Hey! I just realized I forgot to update you. The instore went okay! I didn’t say much to him because I panicked and forgot to tell him which song on the EP I liked😭 I did write it in my fanletter though, so that’s better than nothing lol.
It was a signing event so I got him to sign a water bottle that he threw at a live earlier this year. It has a pick in it and everything. Not sure if the details are too long to write here but I wrote a blog post about it and everything lol.

ahaha you must’ve been mortified! I did something kinda similar when I had a meet & greet with Mao from SID. It was a 30 second handshake or something, and I waited for 1.5 hours to do it, but when it was my turn, I was so starstruck that I went like "Oooh 
" to his face. He just looked at me like 
but I was so embarrassed because everyone else talked to him normally, and I was acting like I’d seen a ghost I don’t even know why I was so surprised. Like, it’s not like I didn’t know he was gonna be there…

From the bits I can understand, it seems like the fan is based abroad and has been a fan of Yuh’s for a really long time. They were moving when the theft occurred.
They had saved money for that specific Ibanez Dragonfly model after the fan, then a high-schooler, saw Yuh use it. It was an important guitar to the fan, so they are obviously in a pretty bad headspace right now.
I’m not sure if the fan has sought help from their local authorities, but if you see this somewhere, I hope you get your guitar back
