just heard Boris’s To the Beach today and thought there’s never been a more perfect superposition of disco-pop and doom metal, each wrapped perfectly into the other.

That reminds me of that one VK book I read once, someone mentioned it on Vkgy, years ago, so out of joke I read it
And hell was it bad

I just searched for that book on amazon out of curiosity about reviews - there is even a follow-up book 
From the summary, both books sound like they are probably the softporn fantasy of the author. If she is able to generate some money with that, good for her, I guess 
As a kindle unlimited subscriber, I could actually read them for free. I might do that and write a review on this board

I love how Nonsensical bad that cover is. The guy is in a vk band but the torso on the cover looks like stereo typical asian martial arts guy.
I kinda wanna read it to guess which bandomen was the inspiration for this because I am pretty sure nobody is gonna write that without thirsting in RL.

We could both read it and start a reading circle about “VK centered softcore books” - yes, the topic is quite specific and yes, there are probably not thaaaat many books for this circle to read, but hey, we can always start to write our own books and monetize that hobby

Oh yeah the book came out in 2007, so I would account that .
They are, I only read the first one, and was laying on the floor how full with Stereotypes the book.

That sentence stuck really good with me 
But I think that books sums up what some girls still expect from VK bands.
Being involved in the host business, rich enough to celebrate a MV release on a yacht, and of course when he is with you he is going to be the fairytale prince, stuff like that.

In this case, I would also expect a lot of - I recently learned that there is a specific name for that from Netflix’ “Love Village 2” - Takebon (?). You see that in a lot of Mangas/Animes. It seems like that’s basically a girl/woman standing somewhere with her back to wall and the guy stands in front of her, pushing one or both hands forcefully to the wall next to her. I wish I had a picture, but I hope you know what I mean.
A yacht? Ahahaha, how delusional can someone be to think they make that much money

the cover on its own is actually very well done, for a book of mary sue delusions? I’m shook. the hands could use a clean shave, though.

Actually mayb i should write a vkei romance book and publish it on kindle… It’ll be dramatic and realistic with lots of infighting, and the love interest will be a sexy asshole who looks into the protagonist’s eyes when he plays the guitar on stage. Throw in a jealous mitsu or female record company exec villain and we’ve got a 100 pages, easy peasy.

The cover pretty much looked like what in Germany belongs to the New Adult genre (don’t know, if it’s the same name in English speaking countries) combined with some selfpublishing background (not everything being released by selfpublishing writers looks horrible though).

i tried to find this book on amazon but its only in german? now i’m gonna look at work
actually. that would be a fun thing to do. group write the dumbest delulu fanfic but occasionally throw in little bits of “but that’s so real though” to keep it existential
