sukekiyo New Audio & Video Compilation "Ius Cerebri" & "Sinistro Cerebrum"

These are luxury goods and Kyo recognizes that, given the combination of high income elasticity of demand (meaning that the more money fans make the more they’re willing to buy) and price in elasticity of demand (a lack of substitutes means demand is less responsive to price increases), they have a positive relationship between price and demand or an upward-sloping demand curve.

Therefore it follows that they can set a higher price to drive higher demand.

“Luxury goods”??? Don’t make laugh… It’s a piece of plastic in a fancy case that costs nowhere near to produce compared to what they’re charging for it. They charge that much because people keep paying the ridiculous prices, if nobody bothered theyd HAVE to charge more sensibly. But if someone really values the stuff that much and is happy to pay it fair enough, but in terms of production the costs are nowhere close to justifying those prices. Just saying…

What the hell are you guys talking about? Material cost obviously makes up only a fraction of the actual price of a CD but you’re not buying a couple of pieces of plastic and paper, are you? You’re buying an album, art, music and visual artwork as well as the time, effort and expertise of sometimes dozens of individuals involved in the creative process and production.

Beyond that we’re talking about special editions here, limited in number and with additional content. If that’s not your thing, get a regular edition or simply listen on streaming services. Special/limited editions only appeal to a certain part of the audience which happily pays extra btw., otherwise these editions wouldn’t sell out every single time.

sukekiyo releases are expensive, yes, but so is a lot of things in the vk sphere. Their last album cost ¥11,000, PHALARIS was¥9,900, the last two Gazette albums were ¥10,500 and ¥13,000… I could go on but you get the point. Plus there’s people shelling out tens of thousands of yen for 30 year old demo tapes. Owning pieces of music is primarily about the subjective value you attribute to it. You decide what it’s worth to you personally. If it’s about plastic, I pity you.

At least it’s not macro… :face_with_spiral_eyes:

In response to your above post… already covered that point by the looks of it.

You can do this but please be aware that this tax evasion and you can get into trouble if you are caught. Customs can randomly pick out packages and ask you to provide proof what you paid for it. I can’t tell for all countries but it happend to me in Germany. Luckily I used the correct amount but I had to pick up my package from customs.

Yeah chances are low but you should keep in mind that you are potentially commiting a crime.

I kinda feel like the post wasnt meant to be taken seriously dude…

You can safe a lot of money on import tax with reducing the invoice price so people absolutely use this and a lot of them are not aware that it is tax evasion so I don’t think it harms anyone that i mentioned it, no matter if op was making a joke.

The cover art is fabulous! The illustrations have a bit of the style of those of the manga Innocent Rouge of Shin’ichi Sakamoto.
