I really enjoy listening to the song, and I enjoy every part of the song, yet those kind of songs also often have this problem of “hyping” up for another great explosive part to come, which just in this case never came. (we had things which went close to that, but felt more like teasing the climax some more intense)
But I still can enjoy the work in the complex and it is singular parts.
and I especially have a joy in listening to Visual Kei music which cooperateds complex and changing time signatures.
and the nature of such progressive songs also makes you forget the beginning of the song midway, which sounds at first like something bad, but for me it makes it just a lot easier to keep longer invested in it.
all in all. Definitely a great track, and one which would make me instantly buy the album if it would have a regular price and would not cost fucking 11.0000 Yen

The song was really good instrumentally. Kyo’s singing was great but I’m just so fatigued with that raspy wheezy old man half talking half yelling thing he does. I’d prefer he just did his normal screams. Moan was alright but I think Candis is already the peak of that style from them.
I’m really excited for the studio version of Rongai. I loved the demo and was really disappointed when it never showed up on subsequent albums/EPs/singles so I can’t wait. Is there an actual release date for this though? Everything just says August. Apparently The Hole has been played live but I couldn’t find any footage of it anywhere.

u got lied to actually bc you have to have a very high IQ to understand Sukekiyo. The music is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of musical theory most of the songs will go over a typical listener’s head. There’s also Kyo’s nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his lyrics - his personal philosophy draws heavily from George Romero, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these songs, to realize that they’re not just funky - they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Sukekiyo truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the humour in Kyo’s existencial catchphrase “girigiri DARLING,” which itself is a cryptic reference to Jodorowsky’s Mexican epic Santa Sangre. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those Toriko simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Kyo’s genius unfolds itself through their speakers. What fools… how I pity them. 
And yes by the way, I DO have a Pun-chan tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It’s for the ladies’ eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they’re within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.

I can understand hardcore fans saying this but still it sounds a bit arrogant. No?

Probably supposed to be ironic, as that show was dumb as hell.
IQ is a fairly unscientific measure of intelligence anyway.
The one thing I will agree with is that sukekiyo’s music is not for everyone, and that’s okay.
