This wouldn’t be the first time Kyo’s made up a word. Kasakasa and gasagasa are crispy, crackly words, so these bug crawlies are especially crunchy and they emerge in droves, zorozoro.

Asked a JP friend, they say it’s a neologism :man_shrugging:
Maybe from “kasakasa” and “gasagasa”, as you said

“zoro zoro” has multiple uses, and swarming insects is one of them.

Which, when you think about it, is no different than a crowd of people gathering.

I’m in much the same boat.

But back on topic.
It’s funny, my fiance and I came to the same conclusion as y’all that kasa gasa may just reflect the sound of a bug. It’s always interesting when they go through the effort to translate things into English and then there’s just a word where no one knows what it means.

For anyone wondering what the heck this is (as I was), it’s the 2nd wave of a collab between the band and Ankoku Entertainment, which in 2023 brought these abominations to a select lucky (?) few fans:

(they’re “soft vinyl figures”)

I’m trying to streamline my digital collection. I have Ius Cerebri / Sinistro Cerebrum and EROSIO. What is missing from those that I’m missing out on? I really don’t like having every album once there’s a best of album, mostly just keep the stuff that came out since the best-of came out.

Uh lmao,

Immortalis
Vitium
Anima
Adoratio
Infinitum

All of these releases have tracks that aren’t included on the best-of. The Salus and Amor singles have unique stuff too. Maybe someone will be willing to list out every missing track but I’d be surprised

If you don’t want to have every single release in your library, you’re gonna have to compromise. sukekiyo’s catalogue is very eclectic with so many unique tracks, stylistic experiments and genre-excursions that you’ll never get the full picture with just a best-of. So it really depends on how deep into the rabbit hole you’re willing to venture.

If you do find yourself interested though, take the plunge. It takes some time, but it’s so worth it!

I’ve had every single thing even the demos in my library but my minimalist mindset can cause chaos for such a band so yeah I’ll have to go back through everything and see what I want to keep and what I can live without.

Immortalis is by far my favourite release of theirs so just grab that and be done with it. Haha

alternatively, Immortalis is the least interesting thing they ever released so go ahead and grab everything but that.

maybe just grab everything.

Get Salus, then delete everything but Candis. Then delete Ius Cerebri and Sinistro Cerebrum.

Hahahaha noooooooo! I dunno why so many people hate on that album, that album touched me in a way none of their other releases have so for me theres defo something special about it. The other albums are good too, but yep, thats my number 1 from them for me.

Everyone here just likes to joke.

I say just get everything. Even the terrible demo version of 接触!
There’s some really great content, and personally I love some of the “demo” versions of tracks more than their updated ones. Rongai for example. That demo is probably in my top 5 favorite sukekiyo tracks of all time.

Besides. A “best of” album is just really there to serve as an entry point for new fans. Hell, they didn’t even put Anima, kisses, or 304号室 舌と夜 on there. Come on.
