For someone who hasn’t followed them since the tradegy have they released something? Sorry just a small question.

Well in theory the realese of their latest tour was two days after Reita’s death.

Nothing since that one but an annoucement for a new release called “The Winter”. The did not specify what kind of release but it’s likely an album.

Uruha killed it, this setlist is wild!

When it says “each member produce” do they mean that the specific member chose the setlist? Or that these are songs that said member largely wrote?

Definitely not the latter. Most of the songs in this setlist haven’t been written by Uruha afaik.

But Ruki said, that everything for these lives is produced by the respective member.
What exactly this means, besides the setlist, I don’t know.

It’s just clear that every member also created one of the goods for the merch, because Uruha said, that the mini speaker is his item.

Usually “member produced” means the member chose the direction they wanted the live to go in. Like the concept, the setlist, which outfits to use, the general vibe of the stage effects

Uruha is a fucking mad man…

Scrap that horrible 2nd Encore and this is 10/10

I’ve been binging ‘DIM’ recently and my two thoughts remain the same:

  1. ‘MOTH UNDER THE SKIN’ is still, imo, the weakest track on the album.

  2. ‘WITHOUT A TRACE’ should’ve been on there, not ‘Guren’.

I’m not sure if this is DIM/Gazette fan sacrilege and I’m sorry if it is haha!

I go back and forth on this…Guren DOES fit the sequencing but WITHOUT A TRACE is a GREAT SUB!

But its placement on the DISTRESS AND COMA Single is SWEET TOO!!!

He likes the heavier songs it seems!

Decided to put on the tour 2006/07, Decomposition Beauty DVD this evening and have forgotten how far Ruki’s harsh vocals have come. Fortunately there aren’t a lot of them here but he does sounds terrible. Haha. Im glad he got better.

I like The gazette only because of the alternative-industrial sound, it reminds me of Western one sounds. I think this is one of the “modern” if you can call it that vkei bands that are worthy of attention. The best songs are Vortex, Beauty in the filth, 13 stairs, well, I have nothing more to say, something like that.

These are the 3 tracks I like the least .

I wouldn’t even say their more modern sound is really industrial influenced. There are electronics in there for sure, but have never really thought they have an “industrial metal” type sound.

When I turn on any of their songs I hear “industrial sounds”
