the GazettE

Might be your sound system giving up. Nothing remotely close to industrial in their music

Well I’ll say that some of Marilyn Manson’s catalogue been a fairly significant influence with it being especially apparent in a few tracks, and that’d in turn make their sound tangentially adjacent to the MM, NIN etc. wave of what’s probably accurately described as industrial nu metal. I don’t know if I’d really resist describing what they’re doing currently as being something akin to that, albeit removed geographically and chronologically by two decades. At the end of the day it’s vk, but it sounds like a lot of things as a result of the mosaic nature of both visual kei and their music in general.

the GazettE is industrial metal like Thom Yorke is black metal. Which is to say, not at all.

They’ve been wearing old costumes for each of these member’s produced live, Ruki chose the DOGMA outfits for his, I don’t think it’s an indication of their future sound for the next album

Does anyone know if they have played best friends live since the indie days? Or when was the last time, with Reita-san(rip) or not.

Thank you so much!

This part of setlist.fm is super helpful when looking for song stats, it shows when they first performed a song and where, as well as lists by year of every time they’ve played a song and the date and venue they played it at!

I also like to know when they’ve played certain songs haha!

EDIT: omg @nekkichi i literally just realised that you essentially posted this link lmao sorry I’m dumb :skull:
