Beauty is something that can be extremely subjective even with beauty standards.
Also people’s faces change when they age, loose weight, gain weight etc.

You kinda said it yourself there.
I don’t particularly care for his current look, but it does seem to be following the triangle chin/bishop prince trend. I think his eyes/nose are all makeup and the angle of his face is a filter. There’s some video clips on his insta and his jaw is not that sharp and at times you can see the filter flicker.
Not saying he hasn’t had some work done but anything on social media is mostly fake especially when you’re 40+ and trying to appeal/stay relevant to a younger demographic. And idk what I think about stopping listening to band because a member changed their look.

It’s not only his face, it shows his entire statement and idea for life. He is a good looking guy, many even not half good looking are making music and people love them for who they are. See Lemmy, or Alice Cooper, Mick Jagger, Brian Jonson… Greatest names in rock and metal music. It’s superficial to be so vain to do that.
And moreover, people loved Ruki and the band before that. I remember one old show he stop the concert because some kids started a fight. He said he is not going to make music anymore if his concert brings violation like this. I literally bowed on that.
With years he changed. Started commercializing his music for the american stage. Started listening to others how to do his job. And now changed his appearance just for the sake of people’s opinion. I can’t support that.
And now it’s Reita’s turn, I am surprised he didn’t cut his nose already.

Just as a note to the comments above - Ruki uses a filter on all his pictures and the way he has his makeup and hair done these days is quite different compared to his older looks. His eyebrows are thicker and he doesn’t use concealer on his lips anymore so they appear fuller. He also uses nose shadow to contour his nose which is quite normal among Visual Kei artists and in Japan in general. As someone who has seen the band live and follows them quite closely I have never gotten a bad impression of him. I could come with examples from their most recent live at Budokan but I’m afraid that would be off topic for the thread 
For me personally the most attractive or handsome is Aoi (the GazettE,) HAZUKI/葉月, and Toshiya from Dir en Grey.
The most beautiful is Uruha but all the members of Ashmaze are beautiful as well. Shiyu could easily be a model with his height and bone structure.

Maybe you are right, just I think natural is (almost) always better. Look Ozzy and Sharon, she looks older on her photos at their wedding than now. What I mean is getting old doesn’t makes anyone less pretty. This is the curse of human kind - we live short lives and what we cherish the most goes first.
Taiji Sawada. There was something special about this man. He had a rare soul, they called him Kamen Rider. I painted a graffitti for him and Hide some years ago. He surely rocks in Heaven now.

Tbh like someone mentioned Ruki photoshooops his sns pictures like a madman. I don’t think he actually has changed that much through the years.

Bro do you have eyes? That top pic is not his face. People in Asia edit the shit out of their faces with apps and IDK if its a weird dysmorohia but they always end up looking deformed with huge eyes and a tinyyyyyyy head and unrealistic V shape. You can control these apps to look natural they just edit too much and it looks dumb. How can you not see its an edit tho? I bet he still looks like the bottom pic lol.

It’s not a filter it’s an app where you can literally change every single part of your face and decide how much you want to change it you can change the length of your chin the length of your forehead the length of your nose the width of your nose you can change the shape of your eyebrows if you’re smiling or not the whiteness of your teeth everything is 100% customizable and you can just use a slider to see how much or how little you want to affect the change you’re selecting. Everybody uses it it’s just that some people actually know how to use it and then some people end up looking stupid
